Dare North East Community Interest Company set up in march 2013 in Sunderland to bring diverse activities for the community in particular young people aged 7-19.
We are active in some of the most deprived areas of North East, and we aim to create opportunities for the community where the lack of provision is most visible.

Introducing DARE
Our aim is to provide a combination of community led projects and a professional entertainment company. What makes us different and sets us apart from other companies is our eclectic mix of instructors, teachers, and performers, who have been handpicked and specially trained to work for our company. We also offer a multi-faceted approach to our delivery, working with local communities.
Diverse Activities
Our specialty is providing creative and diverse activities, we provide exciting new skills in a form of workshops and bespoke activities. We cater to all ages and abilities. Our experienced staff are confident in sharing their knowledge and skills.
Workshops and Classes
The workshops are a crucial part of the company delivery. These are created to deliver to members of our communities across the North East. We provide opportunities to learn new skills in various genres such as gymnastics, acrobatics, mime, juggling, hula hooping, drama and dance. There is nothing like DARE in the Northeast which offers such a vast range of styles and opportunities.
Entertainment
With the entertainment side of DARE we will provide a selection of top class entertainment to the entertainment industry. We provide Contortionists, Human Statues, Burlesque Girls, Hula Hoop artists, Fire Breathers, Stilt Walkers and much more.
